Dear Mrs. Maggliola,
The biggest challenge I have faced in this class were all of the due dates and turning everything in on time. This class definitely added stress to my life. But the stress was my fault, not the class’s. I have learned that I need to be better organized and write down everything. I have also learned how to nicely give negative feedback to other writers.
The biggest change I’ve noticed in my writing is how much more fluid it is. I have more sensory details. I truly didn’t expect this class to be as demanding as it was. My favorite parts of the class were when we analyzed the published writings along with proofreading other people’s work. I didn’t enjoy having to write a meaty piece every week.
I feel I can continue to grow as a writer by just applying myself outside of the classroom. I feel the three pieces I chose showed a variety of writing I am capable of. I feel my portfolio shows the more unique side of me because the writings were kind of out there.
